It's about time they did something to help themselves.
Vowing to take back Baghdad's mean streets, Iraq government said Thursday it would deploy 40,000 police and soldiers in the capital to hunt down insurgents and clamp a gauntlet of steel around the city. The interior minister, meanwhile, said his office believes militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was wounded, while an Internet statement claimed that Iraq's most feared terrorist group had appointed a deputy to fill in for the Jordanian.

HOW'S THAT HOPE AND CHANGE WORKING OUT FOR YA ??????
I agree about time the Iraqi's start to defend freedom if they truly want it. If not withdrawl our troops and let them fight their own civil war.
We have lost about 1,650 ro so Americans for a country that could seem to care less.
If they want their country back and a normal way of life it is time for them to take a stand. If they don't there will never be anything other than what they have right now. We won't be there forever (I hope).
